My Latest Travels

As you will have gathered by now, I am a bit of a roamer, using my days off to travel, explore, climb and discover every nook and cranny of the British Isles. To list every place I have been too would bore the pants off of me, let alone you, but below are six of the most recent trips:

Crianlarich Munros

Back in March when we had a few days of glorious summer weather, I finally managed to get a couple of days off work and climbed a pair of Munros above Crianlarich. After 18 months of no hills it was a lot easier than expected...

Glen Shiel Munros the very next day I headed north to Glen Shiel and climbed three more Munros, which left just two more on the South Shiel Ridge. I have since climbed one of those two missing summits, but unfortunately I was beaten back by the snow, leaving one last climb to complete the ridge!

I recently headed up to Sconser and Skye with Mum and took the little ferry across to the Isle of Raasay. As yet I haven't written anything, but watch this space... Oh, no, best not. You could die before I get round to it! Actually, I have written an account on Sabre. Hopefully that will keep you alive for now!

A few days later we managed to avoid the rain with a trip down the east coast of Kintyre, with fantastic views across to Arran. We stopped to look at Skipness Castle and Saddell Abbey, but it was very windy and the day was wearing on so we turned back at Campbeltown. As yet there is nothing written about it though, well except this paragraph here of course.
