Royal Riley Motorbike 3½hp (1903-04)

The Riley Motorbike was available for the first time with a range of Riley built engines from 1903. The 3½ hp was the largest and most powerful of the range. Despite this, however, the bike retained pedals so the rider could assist the engine on hills! Whilst the performance of the machine is unknown, it is likely that with the largest engine the pedals were rarely required.
