Riley 9 Monaco. (1936-37)

Rileys last fling with the Monaco name, moved further upmarket, to avoid taking sales from the Merlin. A new 6-light body was used, along with the traditional basic Riley 9 mechanicals that had proved themselves so well. The body was roughly based on the strong-selling Adelphi shape used on the larger chassis.
Unfortunately, it was not to be, and, along with the Merlin, was withdrawn to makeway for the Victor, which used the Merlin's body, in late 1937.
