Riley 9 4-seater Tourer Plus (1930-31)
For 1930, the Tourer 9 was given the new Plus chassis, and also a new all-steel body. This had a small luggage boot added at the rear, with a peaked top, in place of the curved bodywork without a boot of previous models. The front doors were also redesigned, with cutaways for arm rests, a hint of what was to come with the Lynx a few years later. It remained a popular model, although the move towards closed saloons was evident at this time.
