Riley 15/6 Kestrel. (1935)

The 15/6 Kestrel was originally launched in 1935 with a choice of Falcon or 4-light Kestrel bodywork. Initially the Falcon was the better seller, but the ever popular Kestrel was not far behind. For 1936, the Kestrel gained the new 6-light saloon body, which soldiered on to the bitter end.
The 15/6 Kestrel would have been well appointed inside, as befitted the top of the range cars. Outside, the body was the same as that already fitted to the 12 and 14/6 models, and visually similar to the 9 and 12/4 too, except for the longer bonnet and generally larger shape.
