as Old as the Industry, as modern as the Hour
Over the years Riley produced a huge variety of models, and after the introduction of the '9' in 1926/7, many of the body styles, if not the actual bodies, were fitted to several of the available chassis. Below are links to some of the pertinent pages to explore these models fully.

Nine (1926-1938)
The smallest and by far the most succesful Riley Model before the war. Production neared 30,000, including the famous Brooklands model.

14/6 (1929-1934)
The first of the 6-cylinder models, and the one with the longest production run, replaced by the larger 15/6 models.

12/6 (1932-1935)
A smaller engined version of the 14/6, and the one with the shortest production run. It was replaced by the 12/4 models.

15/6 (1935-1938)
The largest 6 cylinder model, replacing the 14/6 models, and itself phased out in favour of the new 16/4 models.

12/4 (1934-1938)
The 12/4 was also known as the 1½ Litre, with the engine surviving for the postwar RM series.

8/90 & Autovia (1936-1938)
The 8/90 was the V8 model, using two Riley Nine blocks. The Autovia was a new brand launched using Riley components.
