Riley 9 Lincock

The Lincock was a handsome new 2-seater fixed head coupe, using the underslung chassis to produce a sleek and low design. It sold well on the nine chassis, but while it was also available on the larger 12/6 and 14/6 chassis, neither model seemed to sell in any quantity.
Inside the driver and passenger were accommodated on a narrow bench seat, with a split rear window behind. The boot was only accessible from the top outside, the sloping tail of the car being fixed and housing the spare wheel. This left an awkward space with difficult access. Neverthless, this stylish car sold around 300 examples on the 9 chassis in 2 years.
