Mike Overfield Collins 1932 Riley 9 Lynx.

This Lynx 9 is the 1932 Olympia motor show car and based on the Plus Ultra 9hp chassis. It is rare as far as Lynx go as it has magneto ignition and silent third Brooklands remote control gearbox. I have found works experimental numbers stamped around the body in various places, this was works experimental car EX 148. The car was originally painted Cotswold Blue on the motorshow stand and still possesses traces of it behind the panelling. However it has been British Racing Green since before 1955 which is as far back as I can trace the recent history. I haven't found the history between the 1932 motor show and 1955 except to know that it is Glasgow registered presumably having been sold off the show stand.
