Riley Forecar 3hp (1903-04)

The Forecar was launched alongside the revised Motorbikes in 1903. It too featured a choice of Riley Engines, although this, the 3hp, was the smallest available. The frame was very similar to the Motorbikes, with twin members and the engine mounted on the front frame, behind the front axle. The axle had twin wheels and a front mounted passenger seat. There were still pedals to assist the engine, but they were increasinly unnecessary.
For an additional 4 guineas, the 3½ hp engine also available on the motorbikes could be specified.
