The Lynx was essentially a topless Kestrel, sharing the same 'sports' engines, and other features. It was launched at the same time as the Kestrel, and sold well.

For the first season it was offered as a 2-door 4-seater, but subsequently the Lynx became a 4-door 4-seater sports tourer.
