Riley 15/6 Winchester. (1935)
A single 15/6 Winchester has been identified from old records, suggesting that a handful were built. It is quite possible that Riley installed the development 15/6 engine, as seen in a number of Stelvios in the Winchester at the beginning of production, but the model was probably dropped quickly as sales of the newer Falcon and Kestrel models took off. The Winchester had never been a big seller, as far as is known, the market for large saloons such as this being slightly out of Rileys grasp at the time.
The alternative is that this was a later replacement engine, or perhaps even a one-off factory development model.
