Riley 14/6 Stelvio II

Riley 14/6 Stelvio II

Carrying on from the success of the Stelvio, the Stelvio II was also built by the Weymann Coachbuilding Company at first, although some later models may have been produced in house by Riley. It was an elegant 4-light body, with a boot. The Stelvio was the only model that was produced throughout the lifespan of the 14/6 engine, and went on to be offered as the Stelvio III on the 15/6 chassis.
Despite having a unique 14S chassis number, there are simply too few Stelvios identified from old records to give a precise production figure. Between the Stelvio I and II it is thought that around 200-250 were built. It was previously thought that they used large batches of consecutive chassis, but again there are just too few known cars to be certain.
